Featured Fundraiser: Purley Sports and Social Club

There are now an amazing 109 local good causes and charities raising additional funds for their projects through the West Berkshire Lottery! Many of these causes create community hubs and spaces for people of all ages to enjoy.

One of these is Purley Sports and Social Club -  established for over 45 years ago. They offer a wide range of sporting activities to the local community, including football, cricket, pool, darts and tennis. They also offer entertainment evenings for all families of all ages in their friendly social club, recently hosting a Halloween themed family disco!

They are raising funds through the West Berkshire Lottery so they can improve their facilities at the social club and even expand the service.

50p from every £1 ticket purchased through their page goes directly to them with another 10p going into the community fund which will be shared with some of our good causes this Christmas. The community fund currently stands at almost £6,000 - so there is still time to increase the fund!
