Win tickets to this years Newbury Festival

To celebrate the launch of the West Berkshire Lottery some extra special prizes will be on offer in the coming weeks. Anyone buying a ticket after Sunday 7 April will be automatically entered into an additional weekly raffle. Up for grabs will be goodies donated by good causes and local businesses in West Berkshire!

This week, when you buy a ticket before the Saturday 13th draw you could win a pair of tickets to see The Misha Mullov-Abbado Group at the Corn Exchange during the Newbury Spring Festival on Friday 17 May at 19:30.

Winner of the 2014 Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize, Misha Mullov-Abbado is a bass player, composer and arranger. He is a 2017 BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, a 2014 City of Music Foundation Artist and has released two albums on Edition Records as a band-leader and composer. Both of his recent albums have been extremely well-received one included in “Best Jazz Albums of 2015” by The Telegraph and BBC Radio 3.

Last year they performed at the Newbury Spring Festival to a great response from audiences. After their recent concert at Goring Jazz, Newbury Today commented, "With their frequent tempo changes and tight ensembles, this band are one of the best".

The Newbury Spring Festival provides a much loved and valued part of the local music provision. They are raising funds through the West Berkshire Lottery so they can continue to offer an amazing two weeks of world-class music and the ever growing education side of the Festival.

How to enter:

It’s simple! Buy one or more tickets for the Saturday draw – each ticket gives you a chance to win! You will be entered into the raffle for that week with prizes on offer until the draw on Saturday 11 May. Follow West Berkshire Lottery on Facebook and Twitter to be kept up to date about what prizes are on offer each week.

Winners will be selected at random after each weekly draw from the list of those who purchased their ticket for that week.
